I love this spring time anniversary session! It was as if everything turned a beautiful green hue JUST for these photos.  L wore her wedding shoes, jewelry + her rehearsal dinner dress to commemorate the special day.  Congrats on celebrated one year of marriage! Your love, tenderness + care for one another is unmatched!  Love you both!

Last week I traveled to Minnesota to shoot a wedding and I got to sneak in a newborn session with baby Jacob!  What made this shoot extra special is that my mom was there to assist with baby placement and make amazing suggestions for backdrops and props.  When you mix the help of my mom, all the silly facial expressions of this small human and my dad's amazingly green lawn it makes for a perfect summer newborn session in Minnesota!

A new life is ONE. INCREDIBLE. MIRACLE....But TWO new lives? It's pretty unbelievable.  Wrapping your head around how carefully each one of those tiny humans was thoughtfully and maticulously crafted in their sweet mommy's body is unfathomable...twenty teeny toes, two little noses, two sets of precious lips, twenty fragile fingers. All these things can only point to a greater, Heavenly Father who created them perfectly and wonderfully! Photos just don't do justice to their size, beauty and preciousness. I (almost) have baby fever! Congrats to our dear friends, Eric & Kasey.  You made cute kids! Thanks for letting Zac and I sneak a peek at your neat family of four (well six-- Can't leave Toby Washington and Henry Theodore out)! xxoo

Have you ever wondered, "What does the fox say?" He says, "I'm grateful for my family, my mom and my dad. My sweet friend Piper takes me everywhere and even includes me in family photos."  Meet the Foleys - another wonderful seminary family.  They have an incredible story and one precious/cute kiddo!  P.S. That sun though!

Check out this sweet family! This handsome munchkin wanted to show off his walking (mostly running skills).  But. his. smile. -- melts hearts! It's been a privilege to be able to meet so many families through photography here in Dallas.  Kiddos are only little once and they grow and change at a crazy fast rate.  So freezing these moments for families who are in similar ministry training programs at an affordable rate has been a joy!  Scroll through the Wiesner's session from a couple weeks ago...

Need family photos done? I'd love to hear from you! - CB

My sister got married in April which means a Bach-ette party was in order!  We knew she'd appreciate a classier party than the standard bachelorette party.  My inspiration came from Pinterest, of course + Olivia's fancy flair for wine and cheese.  Pair 18 of the Bride's besties with an eclectic variety of cheeses, olives, berries and wine and it makes for a perfect celebration of the Brides final days as a single lady! Cheers!

She's my favorite gal to take pictures of whenever I have an opportunity. She's stunning always, and not to mention she's not camera shy! We did a couple senior photo shoots before her graduation party.  Here are a few of my baby sis, Alexa from our last visit to Minnesota earlier this month!

One of my favorite parts of college ministry is being able to walk along side the students and see their relationships and friendships grow with one another.  KD and Aaron are one couple that Zac and I especially love to hang out with! Check out their sweet session on the beautiful greens of SMU's campus in Dallas, TX.

Zac and I took a short 3 night vacay to Cabo San Lucas back in early May to celebrate our second anniversary and the successful completion of his second year of grad school! Our trip included taking lots of pictures {selfies}, eating till we explode {chips, quac and salsa}, getting free pedicures {from the sand}, and soaking in the rays {getting fried}.
