This was the wedding of the year. The one we had been looking forward to since Bronson + Alisha reached out to us over a year prior to their wedding day. Alisha was like a little sister to me [Cassie] back in the day. So you can imagine the real emotions I had as we served her + husband-to-be.  And I'd be lying if I say I didn't cry that day - because a) Alisha looked incredibly breathtaking + beautiful + b) Bronson's reaction to his bride EVERY time he saw her was as if he was seeing her for the first time. Like the things you see in movies but BETTER. I can't make this stuff up! You're love for God, for others + for one another was so's how we know your marriage is going to be a great one! You two are gems.  A man + woman striving to honor Christ in your marriage + that's a huge part of what made September 30th so memorable. :) xxoo

When Dan and Kristen reached out to us to capture their day, we couldn't say yes fast enough! We knew their Texas wedding would be a memorable one, filled with incredible moments that reflected who they were and the things important to them.

From the moment we drove on to Kristen's parents land (where the wedding ceremony and reception was held) we were instantly welcomed as part of the family. The Currie family invited us to continue in the celebration at the rehearsal dinner and the day-after-brunch. We were not only included in all the weekend festivities but we also were invited to stay at the lake cabins with the bridal party. What a beautiful location and opportunity to get to know the family and friends of the couple before their special day!

And their day was nothing short of special. Though it rained most of the morning, we had clear skies by the time the ceremony began. The early part of the morning began with coffee and muffins and casual getting ready. The ladies wore their monogrammed flannel shirts as they curled their hair and put on their makeup.  The men watched the A&M vs Mississippi State game -- a classic Texas morning. Dan and Kristen's first look was picturesque on the dock over looking the lake.  They exchanged letters and we headed to Kristen's childhood home for their 'I Do's' surrounded by their closest friends and family.  After a beautiful and God honoring ceremony, the celebration continued with authentic Tex-Mex, the most incredible singing DJ we've ever heard, and a firework display because everything is bigger in Texas! Amen?!

A full and memorable day concluded with Mr. and Mrs. Nerdahl making their grand, sparkler exit. Thank you, Nerdahl's, for welcoming us into your precious family and for showing us the greatest Southern hospitality we've grown to know and love! I'm excited to continue our friendship over our shared affection for Texas, pizza and board games! We are thrilled for you guys and pray your marriage is blessed beyond what you could hope or imagine!

So many feelings right now!

Lauren + Mark were on the ball with choosing some PRIME locations to shoot their engagement photos.  [Sidebar: I love, Love, LOVE when couples select a location or two or three that reflect who they are.] So when Lauren said, "let's meet here", I was ALL about it! So much to see in this session :)

Is it not obvious how much he cherishes her? Awwwww...It is totally evident! I know their July wedding will be nothing short of incredible! Can't wait for next year, Lauren + Mark! You two are the greatest!

Kathryn+ Sage asked us to be a part of their day + though it was a short in time, it was not short in love + detail! This Monday afternoon wedding highlighted soft greens, peaches + coral colors which made me swoon...and the florals were so gorgeous and beautifully put together that any bride would have been proud to carry them down the aisle.  The wedding was filled with sweet, thought out + memorable touches, yummy punch + local honey for the guests to bring home.  My favorite moment will always be when this stunning bride walked through the double doors of this historical building + Sage saw his wife-to-be for the first time that day.  TEARS.  It truly was 'the best day ever'! Thanks for allowing us to celebrate your sweet love for one another!

I love this spring time anniversary session! It was as if everything turned a beautiful green hue JUST for these photos.  L wore her wedding shoes, jewelry + her rehearsal dinner dress to commemorate the special day.  Congrats on celebrated one year of marriage! Your love, tenderness + care for one another is unmatched!  Love you both!

Have you ever clicked with someone so fast that you suddenly knew you were practically the same person?!  Well, this happened to Amy and I.  We instantly bonded over everything wedding, coordinating and planning a year or so ago. When she met Michael and introduced him to our small group, there were no questions that they were meant for one another.  I was honored to be apart of their proposal and engagement. Thanks for allowing us to celebrate this special season in your life! I'm glad we are fast friends and we can share in this time as you prepare for marriage.
